Sister Mary Clara is a plush, 13-inch African American nun doll fashioned for imaginative, yet inspirational play. She arrives with a full-color companion booklet detailing five real vocation stories. 

Designed to give little boys and little girls an inside look into the lives of real-life priests and Religious Sisters, each doll is accompanied by a Wee Believers® companion booklet featuring the vocation stories of five priests. Vocation Dolls encourage faith-based play, foster vocations within the family, and help educators talk to young children in the classroom about the call to the consecrated life.

The Sister Mary Clara doll is modeled after Mother Mary Clara who, with Mother Mary Felicia, founded the Oblate Sisters of Providence (the first Black community in the United States) in Baltimore in 1829.
